Position Overview:
We are seeking a Visual Merchandiser to join our team, responsible for creating compelling visual displays that drive sales and communicate our brand message. In this role, you will support store operations by bringing creativity and innovation to our merchandising efforts, staying flexible to business needs, and bringing Scoop’s merchandising standards to life.

Key Responsibilities:
Creative Visual Displays:
- Design and execute compelling in-store and window displays that align with The Latest Scoop's brand identity and standards.
- Merchandise within key product categories, including fashion/apparel, home decor, and lifestyle products.
- Dress and style mannequins to match Scoop merchandising standards, ensuring they reflect current trends and product lines.
Merchandising Execution:
- Follow and implement visual merchandising directives with creativity and resourcefulness.
- Support the set-up of short-term and seasonal store flips, including special events (e.g., Warehouses, Black Friday, Boxing Day).
- Be responsive and make entrepreneurial, data-driven decisions on merchandising adjustments based on sales trends and customer feedback.
Operational Support:
- Maintain all signage, POP fixtures, and displays, communicating any changes or maintenance needs to the Merchandiser Lead.
- Ensure timely execution of replenishments, in-fills, and stockroom standards.
- Participate in internal or external events as needed, providing visual merchandising expertise.
Flexibility and Mobility:
- Adapt to changing work environments and evolving store layouts.
- Be available for flexible scheduling, including early morning and overnight shifts.
- Travel locally to support different store locations, with a valid driver’s license required.

Visual Standards and Training:
- Daily: Ensure store presentation meets company visual merchandising standards and consistently represent the brand.
- Weekly: Place new arrivals, update windows, and merchandise fresh products according to the weekly floor set guidelines.
- Monthly: Execute VM guidelines across windows, mannequins, apparel, and non-apparel displays to reflect our brand’s seasonal changes.
- Training: Support the ongoing development of store teams by training them on new launches, product knowledge, and visual merchandising best practices.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in visual merchandising within the retail fashion industry (required).
- Proven ability to create visually appealing displays that drive sales and customer engagement.
- Proficiency in managing merchandising across multiple categories (fashion, home decor, etc.).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and resourceful with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable using tools (e.g., hammer, drill, level) and handling minor store repairs (e.g., patching walls, painting).
- Ability to lift and climb ladders to perform elevated work.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overnights for special events or store updates.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
