Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Early Childhood Educator to inspire and guide a vibrant classroom environment dedicated to the holistic development of young children. Responsibilities
- Work within a team of 3 early childhood educators ensuring high-quality classroom management and instructional delivery
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support childhood development
- Design engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles, including special education and early intervention strategies
- Foster a positive classroom environment by managing behavior effectively and promoting social-emotional learning
- Oversee classroom activities related to daycare routines to ensure safety and developmental appropriateness
- Collaborate with staff on standardized testing preparations, assessments, and progress tracking for young learners
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child welfare, progress, and classroom updates to build strong partnerships
Experience
- 5 years classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as group childcare/ daycare - 25 children
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various subjects
- Experience managing or leading a team of educators or teaching assistants in an early childhood environment
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and childhood development principles
- Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention programs, and child welfare standards
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and community partners
- Prior experience with classroom management tools, lesson planning software, or standardized testing procedures is preferred

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
