Position Overview:
Maxx North America Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join our team. The Mechanical Superintendent will play a role in overseeing and optimizing the operational activities of Maxx North America Services, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities
· Review tender documents, estimates and preparation of proposals.
· Define project scopes, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, milestones, and deliverables.
· Act as primary liaison with site supervisors and subcontractors.
· Understand complete site access requirements (PPE, Safety Training, D&A testing, etc.).
· Completion of pre-job work (FLHA’s)
· Conduct cost/benefit analysis and margin estimations to determine project success parameters.
· Manage client/contractor site meetings, RFI’s, change orders, invoices and document control processes.
· Identify, communicate, monitor and maintain project HSE expectations and deliverables.
· Overseeing other crew members on site and providing example, being able to assist as needed. Working independently with experience
· Assisting the foreman and providing direction
· Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
· Manage fabrication of piping and structural components
· Facilitate and coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring alignment with Customer specification
· Coordinate and oversee all daily activities as required with the specific project.
All applicants must have the following:
- Required Safety Tickets: CSTS 20, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid – Level C CPR/AED, Ground Disturbance – Level II, Confined Space (Job Dependent)
- Pipefitter Journeyman Certificate would be an asset
- Must be willing to work both out of town and in Edmonton
- Flexibility to work overtime on weekends as required to meet client requirements
- Must be willing to work shift work
- Must pass drug and alcohol pre-employment testing
