Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Laundry Production Manager based from Burnaby, BC and lead the efficient operation of our high-volume laundry facility. Duties
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient processing of laundry orders, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Supervise laundry staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and productive team
- Implement safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and industry standards
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, detergents, and laundry equipment to optimize operations and reduce waste
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for all aspects of laundry processing, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging
Experience
- Four year university or college degree preferred.
- Proven experience in hotel laundry operations or large-scale commercial laundry management
- Strong knowledge of laundry equipment, cleaning agents, and sanitation practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to hire and manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and laundry facilities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control and process improvement efforts

Compensation
The position starts at $80,000.00/year with a bonus plan potential of up to $20,000.00 per year, reports directly to the General Manager and has a Production Supervisor assistant as a key direct report.
Three weeks holidays per year, health benefits after 90 days, $50.00/month cell phone allowance.
