Now Hiring – Full-Time Catering & Events Server

Are you passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment? The Explorer Hotel is seeking a dedicated and professional Catering & Events Server to join our team full-time.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve and pour food and beverages during banquets, meetings, and special events
- Assist with setup and takedown of event spaces, including arranging tables, linens, and décor
- Respond to guest requests with professionalism and attention to detail
- Collaborate with the banquet and culinary teams to ensure smooth event execution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas before, during, and after service
- If not required in catering or event service, shift assignments may vary to support other outlets within The Explorer Hotel
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Must hold a valid Safe Server certification or equivalent
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of our banquet and events schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering memorable experiences
- Ability to lift and move event equipment and stand for extended periods
- Previous serving experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right candidate
- Local candidates are preferred
