TeraSpan Networks Inc is a full-service telecommunications contractor with projects across BC. We are currently recruiting for a Telecom Installation Tech to join our Prince George based team.
At TeraSpan, you are a key member of the team and you will have opportunities for training in all facets of telecommunications network construction.
Primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Cable placement OSP– Outside plant aerial and underground telecommunications cable installation (copper and fiber)
- Cable placement ISP - In-builting / on-premise fibre optic cable placement
- Cable splicing / terminations - both in-building and outside plant
Preference will be given to candidates with any of the following (please mention when applying):
- 1 year of telecom construction experience
- Valid training certificates such as confined space, aerial lift, first aid
- Spur climbing training and experience
Required qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent required
- Clean 5 drivers license
- Ability to lift 60lbs
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to travel within BC as required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
