Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a major local agriculture client and looking for Canola Roguers /Weed Pullers to work in the canola fields.
Salary: $18/hour.
Job Type: Temporary/Contract, fulltime; June and July, Transportation is provided.
Monday – Friday, Approx 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Job Details:
- Pulling weeds and volunteer canola from Hybrid Canola Fields.
- Working outside in hot weather.
- Teamwork and following the team lead’s instructions.
- Transportation will be provided and pick up/drop off will be from location in Lethbridge
- Very physically demanding tasks.
- Paid travel time if it takes more than 30 min to reach the site
Qualifications:
- Students are most welcome; however, they must be at least 15 years old.
- No allergies to bees, pollen, or dust.
- Physically fit and able to bend, stand, and squat often.
- Bring own boots or closed toe shoes.
- Preferably wear long sleeves to protect from the sun/ dust
