We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Caseworker to join our legal team. Responsibilities
- Manage and track multiple immigration cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is complete.
- Conduct thorough research using tools such as LexisNexis to gather relevant legal information and case data.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal standards.
- Perform detailed proofreading of all case materials to maintain accuracy and professionalism.
- Conduct client interviews to collect necessary information and clarify case details.
- Utilize case management software such as iManage to organize files, documents, and case notes efficiently.
- Enter data accurately into relevant databases and maintain meticulous records through filing and data entry tasks.
- Support project management efforts by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and communicating with team members.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients, legal professionals, and external agencies.
- Assist with administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized files.
Skills
- Proven proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience using LexisNexis or similar legal research tools.
