Sunnyside Natural Market is a locally owned. We’re seeking a part-time candidate who shares our passion for organic and locally produced food. Someone experienced in a Produce department and providing superior customer service with an eye for detail. Must be physically fit.
Requirements:
- Communication and organizational skills. Comfortable taking direction.
- Excellent customer service skills and enjoys interacting with customers.
- Experience in produce prepping, quality control and merchandising.
- Experience with receiving produce shipments.
- Occasional work to fill in as cashier will be required.
- Ability to endure lengthy periods of standing, walking, twisting and working in small spaces.
- Able to carry/lift 25 kg and work in a cold environment. This is a physically active role.
- Open to working evenings and weekends as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Produce department: 1 year (preferred)
