One Card Coordinator

This is an "Initiatives/Opportunities" Position

Reporting to the Director, Housing, Food, & Student Conduct, you will be responsible for the administration of multiple systems that integrate with One Card. You will provide advice and guidance to the department, students, staff, and our business partners and vendors specific to processes, planning, enhancing, redesigning, securing and administering multiple systems including Point of Sale, Photo ID, StarRez, and Moneris Web Client as they relate and connect with Fleming’s One Card operations. This position will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting new business processes as they relate to the usage of One Card systems. Reviewing existing processes and recommending changes where inefficiencies are found. Establishing and enhancing internal audit processes, including financial balancing, card issue audits, card activity.

This position is the operational point of contact with One Card vendor and is responsible for working with system vendors to identify options and improve the efficiency of the operational processes, stability, and reporting functions as they relate to the One Card. In addition, you will recommend ways of automating and optimizing One Card processes to reduce operating costs and recommend solutions in response to new and enhanced One Card services and the changing system requirements. You will also analyze and document current and future processes, develop and maintain daily and monthly reports, and map audit controls.

This position will be required to occasionally work evening / weekend hours during semester start ups and other operationally critical periods.

Please note this contract is for the period of one year, October 2019 to October 2020, with possibility of extension.

What We Are Looking For:
As our ideal candidate, you will have a relevant combination of experience and education, including a diploma/degree in system administration, IT, business analysis, statistics or related field.

To compliment your formal education, you will have at least five years of related experience including the following:

Proven background in either business systems administration, systems analysis, statistics and data analysis (Eg: working with logic and process flow, and database analysis);
Experience with influencing and securing business sales in dynamic environments;
Experience providing business, entrepreneurial, and sales knowledge to maintain and secure new partnership opportunities
Experience working in a customer based environment;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and relational databases including Microsoft Access, programming is a preferred asset;
