What is the opportunity?
As part of the Central Tax Group, Royal Trust, the Tax Administrator provides day to day administration support to a group of Tax Managers and is accountable for accurate data and file management to help support the preparation and administration for a large number of tax returns. A keen sense of attention to detail and fully comfortable with technology and digital filing is a key component of this position. What will you do?
Maintain digital tax folders and export key documents
Sort and scan Canada Post mail and digital mail
Act as support resource to Tax Managers
Preparation of excel spreadsheets and adobe documents
Organizes digital data and runs
Downloading tax information
Applying CRA trust number
Assist Tax Officers with mailing of client tax documentation
Follow up calls with the CRA and MRQ
Follow established standards and procedures
What do you need to succeed?
Excellent written /verbal/electronic communication skills
Proficient in Excel, Adobe and comfortable using business applications
Knowledge of data analysis using pivot tables, filters and rules
Ability to organize data, with a keen sense of organization and attention to detail.
Resourceful and able to demonstrate strong technical skills to assist with digital documents
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
Previous office administration experience
