Job Summary:
Flourist is hiring a Retail Bakery Manager to join our East Vancouver location.
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily retail bakery operations and supervising a small team. The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced food production and retail environment. Scheduling may include early mornings, shifts, and flexible hours based on business needs.
Job Duties:
- Direct and control daily bakery retail operations
- Plan, organize, and evaluate daily operational activities
- Supervise staff and assign duties
- Support staff training and performance monitoring
- Determine staffing requirements and assist with scheduling
- Maintain product quality, food safety, and workplace standards
- Support customer service and retail presentation standards
- Work collaboratively with production and retail teams
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in bakery, food service, or retail operations
- Supervisory or team leadership experience is an asset
- Experience working in fast-paced environments

Work Conditions:

Compensation and Schedule:
- $57,000 to $60,000 per year (to be negotiated based on experience)
- 30 to 40 hours per week
- Permanent, full-time employment
- Start date: As soon as possible
