This role supports a financial services team of 15 developers on a maternity leave coverage engagement, operating within a BAU (Business as Usual) scope. The Data Solutions Developer IV will develop and maintain architectures, such as databases and large-scale processing systems, to handle the collection, storage, and retrieval of large datasets. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing data privacy and security measures, optimizing data retrieval, and staying current with industry advancements in data solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements, pipeline design, and data aggregation and transformation.

Implement data privacy and security measures to ensure adherence to compliance standards and protection of sensitive information.

Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards, reports, and other visualization tools to present data insights to end-users effectively.

Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify data-related issues and ensure data quality and integrity.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data solutions to recommend and implement improvements to existing systems.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational database systems.

Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing principles.

Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline and workflow management tools (5 to 8 years).

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges.

Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

AKKA/PEKKO experience 2 to 3 years.

Scala experience 5 years.

Databricks certification, or Spark/Scala certifications.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.

- 8 to 10 years of overall experience.
