Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials across various job sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to traffic and safety regulations. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and commercial driving are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or other loads to designated locations
- Perform daily safety inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, loads, and mileage as required
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Operate additional heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading tasks
- Follow all traffic laws during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding schedules, delays, or issues
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (AZ) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating dump trucks and heavy equipment
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
