We are looking for a caring, knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual with the following qualifications.
$19 hr with certification
General Qualifications:
- Experience working with children between 5 to 12 years of age
- Priority will be given to applicants with experience in child care and certification
Position Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing a quality before and after school Program for children 5 to 12 years of age
- Ensuring the supervision and safety of the children in the program
- Fostering the children’s curiosity and facilitating activities based on their interests and needs
- Building positive relationships with the children, families.
- Following the Child Care requirements and kids Connection’s policies and
*Must have emergency first aid and background check with vulnerable sector search. School age child care certificate or able to get one (psychology course taken or planning on taking one)

Cleaning
Settling disputes

Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday,
- No weekends
- On call (If there are early dismissals fro school or snow days)
- Some full day or half days depeding on when schools are closed, also full days over Christmas and March Break.
