Responsibilities
- Assist clients located in the Foothills Regions including High River, Okotoks, South Calgary.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support medication administration following proper protocols to ensure safety and accuracy
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with dementia or other cognitive challenges
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of personal spaces
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to monitor health status and report any concerns promptly
- Assist with transferring, positioning, and mobility exercises to prevent falls and promote physical well-being
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Demonstrated caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to supporting others’ needs
- Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and home care tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members

Pay: $19.50-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 36.0 per week
