Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead specializing in Shipping, Receiving, and Material Handling to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency with various warehouse management systems. This role involves supervising team members, managing inventory processes, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. English communication skills are mandatory. The Warehouse Lead will play a critical role in process improvement initiatives and maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.
The position will be able to support the following tasks
- Shipping and receiving activities.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Inventory control and cycle counts.
- Maintaining an organized and safe warehouse.
- Coordinating daily warehouse activities and workflow.
- And with adequate training acting as the primary point of contact on the warehouse floor when management is unavailable.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have experience in shipping, receiving, and material handling.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be organized, reliable, and detail oriented.
- Have the confidence to coordinate activities and provide direction to team members.
- Show initiative, accountability, and leadership potential.
- Have previous leadership or Lead Hand experience as an asset, but not a requirement.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:00pm
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
