Overview
We are seeking a candidate with excellent customer service experience and friendly communication skills to join our family. A dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of laundry services, ensuring that all linens, towels, and clothing are properly cleaned, and prepared. Previous cashier experience and familiarity with laundry procedures are preferred but not required. We are seeking evening shifts, weekends, and on call availability
Responsibilities
- Enter Customer Information using our POS system
- Operate coin laundry machines such as washers and dryers efficiently to process linens, towels, and customer clothing
- Sort laundry items according to color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned, folded, or hung according to customer standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times
- Follow safety protocols related to handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery
- Cleaning duties as assigned to support overall cleanliness
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry or cleaning services is preferred but not required
- Cashier experience basic math skills is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and professionalism in appearance and conduct
- Preferred access to a vehicle is neccessary
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
