Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled 12volt Technician/Installer/sales person to join our team. This role involves installing and maintaining 12-volt electrical systems in a variety of vehicles and equipment. Integration of audio equipment including Radio's, speakers, amplifiers and subwoofers. Installing remote starters and security/immobilization systems. Having a 310K certificate is an advantage for placement. Any sales skills to answer phones and interact in the selling of equipment to our customers is a bonus and will allow higher pay structure. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality work. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair 12-volt electrical systems in vehicles, boats, motorcycles or other equipment
- Conduct system diagnostics to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently and safely
- Follow technical diagrams and specifications to ensure accurate wiring and system setup
- Test installed systems for proper functionality and safety compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status and technical details
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand electrical systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
- Experience using power tools including drills, saws, and soldering equipment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise installations and troubleshooting
- Ability to read technical diagrams and follow detailed instructions
- Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
