MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CO-OP STUDENT
The Opportunity:
We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Pulp & Paper Division for Mechanical Engineering Co-op Students to join our dynamic team at one of our Mill locations in Saint John or St George, New Brunswick.
As a valued member of the team, you will get the opportunity to work actively, gaining experience and training firsthand. During your time you will be participate in a variety of tasks that may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Small mechanical repair/improvement projects
Failure Analysis Reports
Project Proposals
Preventive Maintenance Improvement Initiatives
Job Sponsoring for small Maintenance jobs
Project Justifications

You Have:
Education Required: Mechanical Engineering Students available for co-op work term and in good academic standing.
Years of Experience Required: <2 years (all levels welcome to apply)
Ability to work in a team environment involving engineering consultants, equipment suppliers, unionized contractors, and mill personnel to ensure projects are completed in a cost effective, timely, safe, and quality manner.
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work safely both in the office and on mill construction sites.
Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities
Very good communication and organizational skills
High energy level with thorough attention to details
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Physically capable of climbing ladders and staging
