Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Packers/Quality Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently measuring finished products with accuracy, counting, loading, packing, and preparing products safety. Identifying any defects and/or deficiencies and record results. In this role you will be required to work on the production line which includes heavy equipment, moving parts, and loud noise. Assisting operators with changeovers and troubleshooting. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Please note that this position has MANDATORY PPE, which requires a 100% seal with no barrier between respirator and skin.
There are 2 shifts
- Day shift 7am – 7pm
- Night shift 7pm – 7am

Responsibilities
- Measure and count product and materials
- Perform Quality Control checks to ensure customer specifications are met with accuracy
- Remove completed or defective products and materials
- Assist operator with changeovers
- Comply with 5S program
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Some high school education
- Ability to properly and safely lift up to 50lbs manually, walk, and stand for long periods of time (11 hours out of a 12-hour shift)
- Effectively use tape measure, calipers and other hand tools
- Ability to operate required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Basic computer and math skills are required
- Must be able to effectively communicate, read, and write in English
- Ability to work long hours, hardworking, and have a willingness to learn
- Plastic Extruder experience is considered an asset
