Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to engage with customers effectively. A background in technology sales or merchandising is a plus, as you will also assist in product demonstrations and upselling.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Experience
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical products is advantageous.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
