Senior Android Developer - Mobile - Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our mobile development team and work on enhancing the bank's mobile banking platform. The role involves designing and delivering solutions for various projects, focusing on providing world-class financial services through mobile devices.
Senior Android Developer - Mobile - Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact with technical experts, project teams, business, and outside vendors, providing leadership and guidance
- Work independently as the senior or lead developer and coach team members
- Ensure delivery of solution design and deliverables
- Collaborate with architects and managers to provide effort estimates for new projects
- Lead the creation of end-to-end solutions and coordinate with Solution Architects
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and standards compliance
- Provide technical support for escalated incidents and outages
- Work on multiple projects concurrently and manage workload effectively
Senior Android Developer - Mobile - Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in mobile development and 3+ years with Kotlin on Android platform
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose libraries
- Proficient with development tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, Emulator
- Experience with software design patterns like MVC, MVP, and MVVM
- Experience with automated testing using JUnit and frameworks like Robolectric and Espresso
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven analytic and problem-solving skills
Senior Android Developer - Mobile – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of analytics tools like Dynatrace, SonarQube, Crashlytics
- Experience in leading or mentoring technical team members
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Ability to prioritize job duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Senior Android Developer - Mobile – Assignment Length:
This is a 4-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
