We are currently looking for a dedicated Parts Coordinator and Detailer to join our growing team and help us maintain our high standards of service.
Job Overview:
As a Parts Coordinator and Detailer, you will play a vital role in the repair and maintenance process of vehicles. Your responsibilities will include managing and organizing parts for repair jobs, assisting in ordering and inventory, as well as detailing vehicles to ensure they are clean, polished, and looking their best. You’ll work closely with the technicians and service team to ensure the smooth flow of work in the bodyshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Parts Management:
- Assist with receiving, organizing and returning parts for repair jobs.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and supplies.
- Work closely with technicians to ensure parts are delivered in a timely manner.
- Using inventory management software to track stock levels, process orders, and generate reports.
- Handling returns and ensuring proper credit or replacement.
- Ensuring that the parts department is clean, safe, and organized.
- Detailing:
- Perform interior and exterior detailing of vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and steam cleaning.
- Buff and polish vehicles to remove imperfections and enhance the appearance.
- Apply finishing touches such as tire cleaning, glass treatment, and odor removal.
- Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and detailed to company standards before delivery to customers.
- General Bodyshop Assistance:
- Assist technicians in preparing vehicles for repair.
- Clean and maintain the bodyshop area to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
- Help with minor repairs and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in auto detailing or bodyshop parts management preferred.
- Knowledge of car parts and an understanding of the auto repair process is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Valid driver’s license.
