Receptionist (Part-Time)

What is the opportunity?

As the Receptionist for RBC Wealth Management, you will be the initial point of contact for our Maple Ridge Office. You will be responsible for greeting and receiving clients, guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner. As a valued member of our team, you will also assist with catering and other administrative duties as required.

Please note: This is a part-time role, 10 AM to 2 PM Monday to Friday.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for answering and managing all calls on the reception phone. Having a professional, composed and friendly telephone manner is a necessity.
You will also ensure all guests are comfortable by assisting to hang their coats and offering refreshments.
Coordinate and manage bookings for meeting rooms; arrange catering as required
Assist with maintenance of staff kitchen and meeting room; including ordering supplies
You will also contribute to the team by assisting with coordinating any staff functions

What do you need to succeed?


A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in an Office environment
A strong aptitude with MS Office products, i.e., Word and Excel
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong multi-tasking skills


Post-Secondary Education
Experience in the Financial and / or Investment Industry
