Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders and providing product recommendations through upselling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area and kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and food delivery
- Assist in food handling tasks such as packaging, portioning, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen work is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food handling and upselling techniques
