Summary:
Our client is a well-established civil and earthworks contractor based out of Maple Ridge, running a large and modern fleet of heavy trucks and equipment. They're looking for an experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join a team that takes pride in doing the job right, safely and professionally.
You'll be working on a wide range of heavy equipment, from truck and transfers to truck and pony and truck and low-bed configurations, plus light trucks. If you like variety in your day and take satisfaction in keeping a fleet running well, this is a great fit.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, service, and perform routine maintenance on trucks, trailers, and related equipment
- Complete scheduled maintenance work
- Take on welding and fabrication tasks as needed (training provided)
- Keep clear, accurate records of work performed
- Work safely and look out for the team around you
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining trucks and trailers
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting over 50 lbs in varying conditions
Nice-to-Haves:
- Red Seal certification
- Commercial Vehicle Inspector's Certificate (training available for the right person)

- $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
- Full-time, permanent role with a great company culture
- 8 to 10 hour days, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work and overtime available
