FULL TIME YOUTH PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Brown Counselling and Therapy Services is an established and growing, Orleans based practice of psychotherapists providing psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples with a wide range of presenting issues. We are a very busy practice with many referrals to fill your caseload quickly! Supervision, referrals, office space, and a yearly professional development budget is included.
Brown Counselling is currently seeking to hire a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker as an independent contractor to service the east end of Ottawa for in-person services. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, trained, and experienced with seeing young children from ages 3-12.
The successful candidate would ideally possess:
· Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology or Social Work
· Ability to see clients in-person at our office in Orleans in both official languages

· Registration with the CRPO or OCSWSSW (in good standing)
· Experience working with a variety of youth clients with psychological problems
· Experience in providing a range of treatment approaches (play therapy, art therapy, or other modalities geared to young children would be ideal)
· Excellent case conceptualization skills as well as exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
· Workplace insurance through the OAMHP or other reputable organization
Hours are flexible and wages are very competitive. Office space, referrals, professional development, and supervision are provided.
