Job Summary
SNA Construction is seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Formwork Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork systems used to shape concrete structures. Your expertise will ensure the precise and safe creation of foundations, walls, columns, and other structural elements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your carpentry skills and technical knowledge to bring architectural visions to life. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality concrete structures efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Build floor foundations, install floor beams, lay sub/ flooring and erect walls.
- Prepare and assemble structural formwork for concrete foundations.
- Construct, install, and repair wooden frameworks, structures, and fixtures according to blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Build foundation walls, columns, suspended slabs
- Prepare layouts according to building codes, using measuring tools
- Construct suspended slabs, and erect columns.
- Assemble and disassemble scaffolding.
- Carry out mobilization and demobilization tasks.
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education.
- 2 to 3 year relevant work experience in construction industry.
- A valid driver’s license is desired.
- Skilled in concrete finishing techniques to achieve smooth surfaces and proper curing results.
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on-site.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and following detailed instructions.
Pay: $31.00-$33.50 per hour
