Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses by developing personalized treatment plans and providing expert care. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure effective outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in the implementation of rehabilitation programs for diverse populations including pediatrics and acute care patients.
- Stay current with advances in physiotherapy techniques and maintain professional development through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a Physiotherapist in the respective state or region.
- Prior hospital experience is preferred, especially within acute care settings.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
