Proudly constructing the Valley Line West LRT
The City of Edmonton selected Marigold Infrastructure Partners to design and build the 14-kilometre Valley Line West LRT project from downtown to Lewis Farms. Construction has begun and will take 5-6 years to complete.
Marigold is a design-build joint venture agreement between Colas and Parsons.
As we prepare for the next exciting portions, we are adding to our Procurement team.
The Procurement Coordinator will report to the Procurement Manager and assist with all aspects of the subcontract and material procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Work within procurement team, construction, technical and design teams to establish subcontracts and purchase orders
- Develop and maintain vendor lists
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ)
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders
- Analyze RFQ submissions and prepare award recommendations
- Purchase materials and supplies
- Rent equipment
- Support Procurement Manager with the development of procurement agreements
- Assist with preparation of monthly reporting
Requirements:
- 3+ years procurement coordination on a Major Project construction team
- Some field/site-based experience
- Contractor-side experience
- Post-secondary education in the fields of construction, engineering, legal, quantity surveying, or business administration
- Ability to work in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (remote or rotation-based schedule is not available)
- Experience in P3 / Design-Build-Finance an asset
- Subcontract administration experience with JV Contractors preferred
- Experience with administration of third-party Design Agreements an asset
- Infrastructure and/or Rail design and construction phase experience
- Experience using JD Edwards and Aconex an asset
