Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft or damage, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond promptly to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas regularly to maintain safety and security.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and identify potential threats.
- Conduct security checks on entrances, exits, and sensitive areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents or safety hazards.
- Enforce property rules and loss prevention policies to prevent theft or vandalism.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
- Experience or background in law enforcement, security procedures, or loss prevention is preferred.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas on foot if required.
