Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in many vacation homes and properties of all shapes and sizes! You will help to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and property owners.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels and amenities
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste and recycling
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their needs are met
- Provide exceptional customer service and address guest inquiries or concerns promptly
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding linens
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper preferred, but not necessary
- Reliability is of utmost importance
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail
- Time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to clean and maintain various surfaces and materials using appropriate cleaning agents
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Smartphone is necessary for the job for scheduling and to access our internal software
- Reliable vehicle is necessary for out of town properties, but we will accept a casual staff for in town properties without a vehicle
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
