Marathon Underground Constructors Inc. is seeking an experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our team for a major municipal water and wastewater infrastructure project in Martensville, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a hydrovac truck in accordance with company policies and safe work procedures.
- Perform daylighting, utility locating support, excavation, and potholing activities.
- Complete excavation work around underground utilities while minimizing the risk of damage.
- Perform routine inspections and daily maintenance of the hydrovac unit.
- Assist with general labour duties as required.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with site supervisors and utility crews to complete work safely and efficiently.
- Follow all OH&S regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence.
- Previous Hydrovac operating experience is preferred.
- Experience working around underground utilities.
- Strong understanding of safe excavation practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Clean driver's abstract.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ground Disturbance Level II
- First Aid/CPR
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS
- Confined Space and H2S Alive are considered assets
Job Details

- Position: Full-Time, 6 days a week 10hr days
