Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journey Person Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles ensuring optimal performance and safety. The successful candidate must be able to work alone or with the team.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of cars and light trucks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine tune-ups, and system inspections.
- Operate hoists safely during repair or testing procedures when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety for all team members.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, alignments, A/C recharges and diagnostics, electrical systems, and schematics is desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and maintenance equipment required for automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Prior customer service experience is beneficial for communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
