The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Marketing Assistant (Junior Account Manager) to join us full-time. You’ll be a key part of our team, building strong relationships with clients and supporting impactful marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and quick to learn new tools. This role is based in Calgary and follows a hybrid schedule, with at least three days per week in-office. This role is based in Calgary and follows a hybrid schedule. During the initial 3-month probation period, you’ll work in-office full-time to immerse yourself in our team and processes. After the probation period, the role transitions to a flexible hybrid schedule, with at least three days per week in-office and up to two days from home.
What You’ll Do
- Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining a clear understanding of their needs to provide strategic marketing solutions. This is a communication heavy role and requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Campaign Support: Assist in creating and managing marketing plans, ensuring successful execution across multiple channels.
- Content Creation: Draft engaging content for blog posts, email newsletters, search campaigns, and social media.
- Data & Reporting: Manage performance reports using tools like Sprout Social and Google Analytics.
- Creative Collaboration: Coordinate with the creative team to bring integrated marketing campaigns to life.
- Audience Targeting: Brainstorm ideas to optimize outreach strategies for various target audiences.
- Revenue Growth: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within client accounts to support revenue goals.
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure clients receive excellent service, addressing concerns and managing any issues professionally.
- Performance Monitoring: Track account performance, offering feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in account management or in a marketing role, ideally within a marketing agency.
- Client-Centric: Skilled at building client relationships with a focus on excellent service. You are more extroverted than introverted.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills with a knack for presenting ideas clearly.
- Multitasker: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Analytical: Goal-driven with strong analytical skills.
- Tools: Familiarity with social media networks ad Google Analytics
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Starting at $48,000 annually.
- Commission: Earn additional income by referring new clients to the sales team to receive commissions for successful contracts.
