Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Previous experience with POS systems such as Silverware is preferred. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems such as Silverware and cash handling procedures
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
- Manage cash transactions with basic math skills, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, beverages, and utensils
- Assist in setting up for events or special occasions when required
- Uphold all health and safety standards within the restaurant or bar environment
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Silverware or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable
