Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fuel oil over short distances while operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Duties
- Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
Skills
- Commercial driving experience is required - minimum of 3 years
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment

-Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)

Documentation Knowledge
- Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Dangerous goods occurrence reports
