Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and changeovers , and fluid checks.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and roadworthiness.
- Perform brake, suspension repairs and replacement.
- Diagnose and complete repairs for check engine lights
- Inspect and repair or replace exhaust systems
- Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and to ensure that repairs are complete.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and special equipment to identify problems and repair them accurately.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repairs and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- 2-3 year minimum experience is required
- Own your own tools
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components is required
- Strong willingness to learn and develop mechanical skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
