Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.
This opportunity has become available as a valued team member transitions to a new chapter in her career. The successful candidate will inherit an established patient base and a consistent schedule within a supportive and collaborative practice.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys building relationships with patients, and works well as part of a team.
Schedule
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Potential for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene assessments.
- Perform scaling, root planing, polishing, and preventive treatments.
- Take and interpret dental radiographs.
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and charting.
- Adhere to all infection prevention and control protocols.
- Collaborate closely with dentists and team members to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience with dental practice management software is considered an asset.
