Overview
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and customer support for events, classes, activities and other Centre related tasks. As the Front Desk Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for all incoming questions, concerns or inquiries for the Centre activities, including maintaining confidentiality and professionally interact with customers, employees, and the management team.
Responsibilities
- To provide front desk coverage, greeting, checking-in and following up with visitors/customers, responding to email and phone inquiries, registrations and scheduling appointments,
- Work with and assist the Centre Coordinator in coordinating the daily operations of the centre activities, performing general administrative duties supporting the events, classes, programs, consultations, groups, outreach, filing, marketing coordination and mail-outs, promoting offerings, growing the centre’s customer base, and ensure the preparation and organization of the Centre space is ready for online and in person events and activities.
- Create for each visitor to the Centre, an experience of Love, Peace and Harmony when interacting with them and recommend to them to the most relevant and appropriate services, consultations, events, programs, or offerings that meets their specific needs.
- Other tasks/projects as requested.
Qualifications
- Customer Service experience
- Customer Relations Management Systems/Platforms
- Proven administration and office management experience demonstrating successful track record of delivering on time, within budget, and target KPI’s and milestones
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people on all levels of the organization
- Knowledge in operating a POS (point of sale) system
- Basic knowledge in social media for assisting with posts and announcements
- Using technology to manage communications
- Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Preferred having an understanding of Master Sha products and services or alternative healing modalities
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Ability to type 50+ wpm accurately desirable
- Additional language skills are an asset.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
