Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning.
- Perform spot repairs, blend panels, and complete full refinishing work to manufacturer-quality standards.
- Match paint colours accurately using computerized colour-matching systems.
- Operate spray booths, paint mixing systems, and refinishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure exceptional finish quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company quality control procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and technicians to ensure repairs are completed on schedule.
- Assist with polishing, buffing, and final quality inspections when required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of automotive painting experience.
- Experience with spot repair and SMART repair techniques is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems, colour matching, and refinishing procedures.
- Ability to produce high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence is preferred.
