We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our stores. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring store profitability, and maintaining a positive environment for customers.
Duties
- Supervise and lead store staffs to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage daily operations of stores, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
- Recruit, interview, and train new employees while fostering positive team atmospheres.
- Develop and implement effective administrative processes to streamline operations.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favourable terms for products and services.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including sales reports and inventory counts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven experience in store management or similar roles with a focus on operations.
- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with vendors and suppliers.
- Proficient in administrative tasks including record keeping and reporting.
- Ability to conduct interviews and assess candidates effectively during the recruitment process.
- Strong phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors.
- Supervisory skills to motivate staff and foster teamwork within the store environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, inventory counts, and financial reporting.
