Overview
We are a BUSY family of 5 (3 teenagers who all play rep hockey) in a quiet neighbourhood in SE Burlington looking for a part time live-out housekeeper...think Alice from Brady Bunch except not live in! Must have their own vehicle and a valid Drivers License.
The schedule will be Monday to Friday approximately ideally 4-5 hours a day typically starting at 8 am or so. We have some flexibility on the schedule as it is not full time.
The Housekeer's main responsibilities include:
- Meal prep (including school lunches for our son) mainly sides like salads, vegetables, pulling out frozen meat to marinade etc. to help get the dinner organized etc.
- Cleaning of the house.
- Tidying up the kitchen after breakfast, including loading/unloading the dishwasher and putting away dishes from the dish rack
- Grocery shopping for the family (2-3 x per week approximately)
- Keep the main floor kitchen and family room tidy and organized as needed
- Do family's laundry (clothes, bed linens and towels/wash cloths); fold and organize clean laundry
- * occasional pick up or drop off help for our son who is at Pineland PS in grade 8 when and if needed
