Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team in the cosmetic industry. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment focused on quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sanitation standards, and familiarity with following formulation protocols. Prior experience in manufacturing cosmetic or food industry is a plus. This position is essential for supporting daily production operations and ensuring products meet all quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with packaging cosmetic products according to company specifications
- Support processing activities while adhering to strict sanitation regulations
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools to maintain compliance with health standards
- Monitor for quality issues and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage organization
- Follow all safety procedures and mechanical instructions to ensure a safe working environment
- Support team members in meeting daily production goals efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques an asset but not required
- Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
- Mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues an asset
- Basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and quality checks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
