Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers/Bartenders to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while delivering memorable experiences to guests.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering functions
- Manage cash handling and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle food preparation tasks as needed, including garnishing drinks or assembling simple dishes
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist with bar service by preparing drinks, mixing cocktails, and maintaining bar supplies
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for billing, tipping, and cash handling purposes
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
