Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Roofer Helper to assist experienced roofing professionals in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. Duties
- Assist roofers with the installation and repair of various roofing materials, including shingles, metal, and flat roofs
- Handle and organize hand tools and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Support in measuring and cutting materials according to project specifications
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate installation
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Maintain a clean work area by disposing of debris and organizing tools after each task
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site
Experience
- Prior construction experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all duties
- Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, utility knives, and drills is a plus
- Basic carpentry skills or handyman experience are advantageous for understanding building processes
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is beneficial but not mandatory
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights are essential
- Previous experience with caulking or waterproofing materials is a bonus but not necessary

Pay: $20.98-$42.44 per hour
