The Speech Associates is looking for an On Call Service Coordinator for a minimum of 1 month of service.
At The Speech Associates, our therapists travel throughout the community to provide comprehensive assessment and Speech/ABA therapy intervention in-homes, schools, and daycare facilities in Toronto and the surrounding GTA. YOUR ROLE:
The successful candidate will report to our Director of Operations, and our Coordinator in our head office in Downtown Toronto. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming client calls and completing intakes for Speech/ABA Therapy
- Sending referrals to therapists and managing their concerns
- Dealing effectively and timely with customer and patient inquiries (billing or otherwise), as well as complaints
- Building relationships with all business areas and staff, being approachable and supportive in therapist problem solving
- Scheduling new clients and organizing/ maintaining waitlists
- Coordinating therapist schedules with ever-changing client schedules
- Performing follow up calls with new candidates as directed by Dir. Of Ops or Manager of ABA
- Reporting to Director of Operations, and Coordinator
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Background in mental health/behaviour therapy (ABA Therapist experience, or BCaBA preferred)
- Excellent work ethic
- At least 1 year of administrative experience
- Excellent at multitasking in a high-pace environment
- Excellent Soft skills/customer relations skills
- Exceptional professional written and Verbal Skills, including exceptional grasp of English
- Excellent with managing ambiguity
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
- A “self-starter” with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to use good judgment in assessing and responding to a difficult situation
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Enthusiastic and approachable personality
