Our client is a rapidly growing transportation and logistics organization offering integrated supply chain solutions across North America and international markets. As part of its continued growth, the organization is seeking a strategic leader to guide the next phase of expansion for its International Division.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the President will assume full leadership responsibility for a growing international freight forwarding business. This individual will be responsible for driving profitability, strengthening key carrier relationships, developing the team, and executing the division’s long-term growth strategy. The successful candidate will benefit from significant autonomy and will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall strategy, growth, and performance of the International Division
- Maintain full P&L responsibility and accountability for divisional results
- Develop and strengthen relationships with major ocean carriers, airlines, and strategic partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and growth initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
- Drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction across international operations
- Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term business planning and expansion initiatives
- Monitor market trends and industry developments affecting international logistics

Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in international freight forwarding, global logistics, air cargo, or ocean freight
- Minimum of 3 years of experience at the Vice President level or higher
- Proven track record of leading international operations and driving profitable growth
- Strong network and established relationships with carriers, steamship lines, airlines, and industry partners
- Exceptional leadership, business development, and relationship management skills
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen
