Position Summary
Reftek Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced and organized Logistics Manager to oversee
shipping, transportation, inventory flow, and logistics operations. The successful candidate
will support the efficient movement of products, materials, and shipments while
coordinating with internal teams and external logistics providers.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee and coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure timely movement of products, parts, and materials
● Coordinate with courier companies, freight carriers, and logistics providers to arrange shipments, resolve delivery issues, and maintain service reliability
● Monitor shipping documentation, customs paperwork, duties, taxes, and freight-related records to ensure accuracy and compliance
● Work closely with warehouse, production, and operations teams to ensure materials and finished products are available and shipped on time
● Review shipping priorities and coordinate logistics activities to support customer requirements and operational timelines
● Investigate shipping delays, freight discrepancies, damaged shipments, or logistics issues and implement practical solutions
● Maintain and improve logistics procedures to support efficient shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material handling processes
● Monitor inventory flow and coordinate movement of parts and products between suppliers, warehouse, and production operations
● Use NetSuite ERP and other internal systems to maintain records, monitor shipment status, and support operational planning
● Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and logistics requirements
● Support cost-effective shipping practices and review transportation options to improve efficiency where possible
● Ensure compliance with company procedures, transportation requirements, and workplace safety standards
● Coordinate shipping, receiving, and logistics activities to support smooth day-to-day operations
● Prepare reports and maintain accurate logistics and shipment records for management review
Qualifications and Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
● Experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping, warehouse, or operations management preferred
● Experience using NetSuite ERP or similar systems preferred
● Strong understanding of freight coordination, shipping documentation, customs, and logistics processes
● Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
● English language proficiency required
